Our history: trusted family tradition – for 100 years
Our owner-managed company was founded in 1919 as a wood turnery. The products in our extensive range included knife handles, plates, dishes and barometer cases. A particular speciality was the manufacture of components for the original Black Forest cuckoo clock. Today we remain one of the leading suppliers of clock accessories.
From 1950 Erwin Pfaff Junior took the reins of our traditional family-run company. We also took over a business in Freudenstadt. Our core competences back then were the development and manufacture of exclusive Black Forest gift and souvenir items. These items were unfailingly turned, carved and painted by hand with a passion for detail.
Our expertise: unlimited variety and consistent quality – around the world
In the 60s we supplemented our production with direct imports from Asia – chiefly from India and the Philippines. This enabled us to cope with growing demand and meet the individual wishes of our customers.
Over time this meant our focus changed and today we specialise in trade and in imports in particular. As well as our traditional offer of wooden items our extensive range also includes a wide variety of attractive items from China. And we pride ourselves in particular on striking just the right balance between price and quality.
We have an international presence and deliver to customers not only in Europe but around the globe. You will also find us at the leading German and international trade fairs.
Our philosophy: a focus on our customers’ needs – personal and attentive
In 2012 son Sebastian Weis joined the company and has since been responsible for buying and custom-made products.
Today Sonja Pfaff-Weis manages our company in the third generation. Over the decades we have become established as one of the leading partners in a wide variety of sectors – our customers include arts and crafts companies, souvenir shops, culinary establishments, toy shops and museums.
Our particular expertise lies in the areas of in-house developments and individual custom-made products. With our expert sales representatives we are able to completely meet your requirements.
